Shocky can be a handful, but she's full of fun and joy, and she just needs someone to share it all with!Shocky really needs some stability in life, too. She was rescued in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina as a little puppy. Somebody adopted her immediately, and then gave her up! Next, she went to a rescue group, and then, well, this girl has just had no earth under her feet. She needs a really dog-savvy handler to keep her from redirecting or snapping in stressful situations.She loves to be petted and cuddled, but not on her hips, which are starting to hurt these days. Shocky knows " sit? and she comes when you call her. She can be a little hit-or-miss with other dogs. But she's a happy girl who needs some stability, and who really needs a place she can finally call home.Shocky is part of our Single Pets* program! That means that she is eligible for a free flight home and waived adoption fee!*Single pets do best as the only dog or cat in the home.
